In March of 2004, GOD-DES and SHE packed up their lives in Madison, WI and moved to Brooklyn, NY. The girls have come a LONGÂ way since then, opening for MC Lyte and Slick Rick, performing on "The L Word," and starring in LOGO's "Hip-hop Homos" documentary.
GOD-DES started out as "a marching band geek" in high school playing percussion. She quickly moved from drums to rap - her first venue being the school bus. She wowed her school mates with her wicked rhymes, and now she wows lesbian ladies across the land!
SHE adds amazing vocal stylings to the group's songs. Unlike most of the vocal accompaniment we hear in today's hip-hop, SHE's soulful voice and glowing positive energy can make you want to laugh and cry, simultaneously.
